City of Houston Department of Health and Human Services
We are working with the City of Houston's Department of Health and Human Services (HDHHS) to implement a surveillance system for pandemic influenza.

Harris County Public Health and Environmental Services
We are working with the Harris County Public Health and Environmental Services (HCPHES) department to develop a system that would acquire epidemilogical and environmental data and, using ontologies built to peform reasoning on both types of data, enable "environmental epidemiology." That is, the system would automatically be able to associate epidemiologic findings, such as clusters of respiratory disease, with environmental events, such as air pollution, toxic releases, etc.
